For over half a century, Poelier Ammerlaan has been a household name in the region. What began with the passion of the Ammerlaan brothers was expanded by Peter's passion, and over fifty years has grown into a trusted family business where craftsmanship, quality, and service are paramount. For the past twenty years, Peter has been at the helm, after which his sons Paul and Jos have continued the business with love and dedication.

New chapter
In April 2025, a new chapter began: Glenn de Jong took over the business, with a clear mission: to preserve Ammerlaan's craftsmanship and quality, while also creating space for innovation.
About Glenn
Glenn discovered his strength in working with his hands during high school. His father worked in the kitchen for years, which also fostered Glenn's passion for cooking and flavor. After gaining experience in various restaurants, he has worked for the past five years with the Vigo Family, where he further developed his culinary skills.
Although he thoroughly enjoyed his time there, Glenn decided to pursue his passion in a new way: by acquiring Poelier Ammerlaan. With over fifteen years of experience as a chef, a creative eye, and a deep love of craftsmanship and flavor, he wants to expand the offering to include home-cooked meals, fine wines, and fully catered food.
Of course, Glenn doesn't do this alone. Together with the trusted Ammerlaan team, he works every day to guarantee quality, taste, and personal contact.
Poelier Ammerlaan thus remains what it has always been: a place where craftsmanship and hospitality come together, with a fresh perspective on the future.
